My approach to working in the studio is a learning by doing approach. I have been interested in recording, mixing and mastering for a long time now and have done various projects in different styles of music.
In recent years, I gained trust with mixing projects because of my job at HSLU music. There, I am employed as a student assistant in event technology and also as studio assistant. I am entrusted a lot of responsibility which is why I get asked to do the live sound of various concert.
With people listening those concerts and liking the sound of them, I am being asked a lot to mix their recordings, which I really love to do. With those jobs and my Minor as Media Composer, I developed a good hearing and also learned a lot about the technical side of music production.
These projects led me down the path of building my own studio. Time by time, I am acquiring more and better gear. I acoustically improved both my recording and my mixing space and continue doing so, whenever I can.
One thing led to another and now, I am producing bigger and bigger projects and doing commercial music. But my motivation stayed the same: I always strive for the best results possible to me. My work, whether it is recording, producing, mixing, mastering or any combination of them, should notably improve whatever was there in the beginning. After my work, the music should sound professional. That is always my goal.
